Pharmacy Brokerage
As previous Pharmacy Owners and Pharmacists, we understand the decision to buy or sell a pharmacy can be an emotional time. This is especially true for someone who has worked hard to build a business only to make a decision to sell it to someone who may be considered a competitor. Our team members have the background that includes owning and selling three pharmacies, being involved in the sale of a number of other pharmacies throughout New England, and working as a senior manager for large chain pharmacies buying independent and small chain pharmacies. With this valuable experience, we can help you decide to buy or sell a pharmacy.
Specifically, our pharmacy brokerage consulting service includes the following:
- A complete store assessment including prescription volume, competitive demographic and financial analysis for a purchase or sales portfolio.
- The development of purchase and sales strategy options to include a buyer to purchase and operate pharmacy or to purchase pharmacy files only.
- The negotiation with buyer/seller and attorney to closure with particular focus on the details of the purchase and sale agreement.
- To oversee the inventory of store on day of closing to ensure:
- pharmacy and front store items are accurately counted
- any questionable items be negotiated to be included in the sale
- all inventory counts are validated prior to signing purchase agreements
